LISBON, PORTUGAL (VIP-BOOKING) – The Altice Arena will once again be called Meo Arena, a name it had up until 2017 – effective today (February 1). The 21,000 capacity venue is Portugal’s largest indoor arena.

Originally inaugurated in 1998 as the “Pavilhão Atlântico,” the arena underwent a series of name changes, reflecting strategic partnerships and corporate transitions. The arena has played a pivotal role in the cultural landscape of Lisbon, hosting an array of international concerts, sporting events, and cultural spectacles. Over the years, it has welcomed legendary performers, from music icons to sports stars, captivating audiences and solidifying its status as a premier entertainment destination.
