Park is a cancer survivor, having dealt with it when she was a teenager. She says that this experience made her be more committed to staying healthy. "I've developed a personal understanding with myself that I'd do everything I could to be good to my body," she says to Fit For Broadway. "I found that when I was released from the hospital, the theater became the place that made me feel most fulfilled."

Park shared some of her favorite exercises to Fit For Broadway. She says that she likes to run to stay in shape. "I've always been a cardio girl. You can most often find me on an elliptical or treadmill watching an episode of 'Chopped.'  I love to sweat and get a full body workout. In the spring/summer/fall, I love running outside.  With my roots in California and Michigan, I enjoy living right by Central Park where I can go for morning runs amongst some greenery."

Park has amazing skin and makes sure to take care of it. She shared her tips in an interview with Shape. "I'm a huge skin care person now, and I love FaceGym," she says. "I have a face massager from them. The face is full of muscles and we never think to work them out. So, now I use a gua sha tool to massage them. It makes your face feel so much more relaxed."

Park tells Shape that she wants to represent her culture in her roles. "If I am being candid, there was a time when I thought I had done my job if people walked away from a scene forgetting that I'm Asian. But, then I realized, people can acknowledge that I am Asian and still connect with the character."

Park has a busy schedule, however, she always makes time to workout. She tells Shape that her workouts change depending on her schedule. "I have to move every day," she says. "That can be hard with my filming schedule, so I've learned that to stay motivated, I have to adjust what type of physical activity can fit into my life at any given moment."
