Chad Michael Murray was born on August 24, 1981 in Buffalo New York. Before becoming an actor, he first worked as a model, having collaborated with such companies as Skechers, Tommy Hilfiger and Gucci. A year after moving to Los Angeles, he landed a recurring role in Gilmore Girls, which he played from seasons 1 to 2, gaining him recognition. Then came another recurring role in the form of Charlie Todd in Dawson’s Creek from 2001 to 2002.
However, wider recognition came in 2003 after landing the role of the primary protagonist Lucas Scott in One Tree Hill. His abandonment issues brought by the fact that his mother left him when he was young convinced the show’s creator to cast him for the role. He played the character until 2009 as he didn’t return for the show’s 7th and its subsequent seasons. He has also starred in a number of well-known films, including the comedies Freaky Friday and A Cinderella Story, as well as in the horror feature House of Wax.
Has Chad Michael Murray had Plastic Surgery?
Some time in the early 2000s, when he was just getting his major break in the acting industry, Murray became the center of plastic surgery rumors when reports came out that his nose was a fake one. According to such reports, it was strongly possible that he has had a rhinoplasty procedure as his present nose looked different than it did years before. It might be strange for some, knowing how young he was at the time and still be speculated for such an invasive procedure.
Turns out, the reports were real. But the One Tree Hill actor clarified that he’s had his nose done not because he lacked confidence but because he got into an accident when he was 18. According to his description of this event, he got jumped in a Burger King by three guys and had some serious injury on his face (which included his nose) that the doctors had no choice but to have him undergo surgery to fix it in order to avoid permanent damage. Well, that explains it. Why would an already good looking guy in his young age bother for a painful cosmetic surgery if it weren’t for corrective, medical reasons, right?
