Bruce Springsteen and Bono will be joined
by other top stars and music industry executives at NY's Roseland Ballroom on March 11
to honor legendary booking agent Frank Barsalona of Premier Talent Agency with the 15th Annual
Nordoff-Robbins Silver Clef Award.
The annual dinner and auction is one of the music industry's biggest social
gatherings, bringing together top artists and executives from all areas of
the industry. The host for this year's event is Clear Channel Entertainment which will be turning out their top brass for the event. Irv Zuckerman (Co-CEO, Music, Clear Channel Entertainment) is serving as emcee and Brian Becker (CEO, Clear Channel Entertainment) will be speaking on behalf of the Clear Channel organization.
As usual, an array of exciting items will be up for auction, including an hour of airtime on both VH1 and MTV. All proceeds will benefit Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy, which helps severely handicapped children through music at its New York University-based clinic. The Silver Clef Award Dinner and Auction is its largest fundraising event.
