Live Nation Acquires Santa Ana Observatory

SAN DIEGO (CelebrityAccess) — On Friday, Live Nation announced that it’s its Clubs & Theaters division has purchased the Santa Ana Observatory music hall and is closing in on a deal to secure the venue’s sister location, the San Diego North Park Observatory.

Live Nation is no stranger to either concert space and has been exclusively booking the clubs since December 2018.

The acquisitions expand Live Nation’s already notable footprint in the market where they already operate the House of Blues Anaheim and San Diego, The Wiltern, Fox Riverside, Riverside Municipal Auditorium and the Hollywood Palladium, as well as an exclusive booking deal with the Majestic Ventura .

According to Live Nation, the 1,000-capacity Santa Ana Observatory hosted 540 shows across its main room and its 200-capacity Constellation room, while the 1,100-capacity San Diego North Park staged 200 performances.

Upcoming performances at the Observatory include Tech N9ne, The Chromatics, Dababy, The Strumbelinas, lovelytheband, Terror Jr, and The Voidz.
